Deputy Minister of Justice Tamar Zodelava and Chairman of the Digital Governance Agency Sandro Tsirekidze met with 26 interns selected at the agency within the framework of the state paid internship program implemented at the initiative of the Prime Minister. Tamar Zodelava focused on the importance of internships at the initial stage of professional development. She stated that the Ministry of Justice and the agencies within its system have the responsibility of providing important state services to citizens, and the Digital Governance Agency plays a special role in the digitalization of services and in the field of information and cybersecurity. According to the Deputy Minister, the internship gives young people the opportunity to learn about the specifics of public service and to gain qualifications and practical experience. She noted that working in a public agency is a significant responsibility, as it means serving the country and society. The Chairman of the Agency wished the interns success and noted that the agency has important goals and high standards, especially considering that it works with sensitive data. Sandro Tsirekidze encouraged the young people to actively engage in the agency's activities, gain knowledge and experience, and become full-fledged members of the team. The meeting was held in an interactive format. The interns presented their visions, expectations, and interests and discussed issues of interest to them. The event was also attended by Deputy Chairman Guga Sopromadze and the heads of the agency's departments and services. A total of 189 interns were selected within the Ministry of Justice system.

The cooperation document in the field of information and communication technologies was signed by Sandro Tsirekidze, Chairman of the Digital Governance Agency of the Ministry of Justice, and Shyngys Orazalimov, Deputy Chairman of the Board for State Services Development at JSC "NITEC". The memorandum provides for the sharing of experience and best practices, the development of digital state services and technological solutions, as well as the implementation of joint initiatives. The main areas of cooperation are the digital transformation of state services, the development of digital services, and the strengthening of effective digital interaction between the state and business. Sandro Tsirekidze also participated in a discussion held within the framework of GovTech 3.0, which was dedicated to the digital transformation of public administration, modern government technological approaches, and the results achieved in this direction. Along with him, the discussion was attended by the First Vice Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development; the Deputy Chairman of the Board for State Services Development at JSC "NITEC"; and the Managing Director of the Digital Initiatives Directorate of the Eurasian Development Bank. Within the framework of the panel discussion, Sandro Tsirekidze spoke about the reforms implemented in Georgia in the direction of digital transformation of state services, the results achieved, and Georgia's experience in the process of GovTech development. AI & Digital Bridge 2026 was held in Astana and brought together representatives of the public sector, the technology industry, and international organizations.

The forum was opened by Tamar Zodelava, Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, and Haesun Choi, Director of the Intergovernmental Cooperation Division for Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea. Tamar Zodelava focused on the importance of the responsible and safe use of artificial intelligence in the public sector, especially under conditions where technologies are increasingly changing the processes of delivering state services and interacting with citizens. She stated that along with the development of artificial intelligence, it is important to create appropriate legal and institutional mechanisms that will balance technological progress with the protection of human rights, transparency, and a citizen-oriented approach. The Deputy Minister also emphasized the importance of international cooperation and experience sharing, noting that the Digital Cooperation Center, established within the framework of the partnership between Georgia and the Republic of Korea, is an important mechanism for strengthening this direction. The event was held within the framework of cooperation at the governmental level between Georgia and the Republic of Korea, and its main goal is to share experience in the use of artificial intelligence in public administration and to discuss new opportunities for bilateral partnership. The forum participants discussed issues of artificial intelligence governance, taking into account the experience of Georgia and the Republic of Korea, as well as the possibilities for the practical application of artificial intelligence in the public sector. The discussion touched upon the development of reliable digital infrastructure, which is the foundation for creating secure and scalable, AI-supported state services. The participants discussed the challenges associated with the implementation of artificial intelligence in the public sector, including issues of security, accountability, and relevant policy and regulation; they also highlighted joint initiatives. The forum was held within the framework of the memorandum signed between the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of Korea, and was attended by representatives of relevant state agencies, local authorities, and organizations related to the public sector of Georgia and the Republic of Korea.
